Pinion Gear Box is a standing geared housing which is widely used with heavy machines to reduce the input speed to a slower output speed. It is provided with a wheel work which is equipped with a connected set of rotating toothed wheels by which force is transmitted or to achieve variable torque. The whole mechanism is enclosed in a tight steel fabricated casing which gives a protection to the components to prevent any damage due to dust, dirt, water and corrosion.
